This extremely easy beef and macaroni casserole is so easy to put together and perfect for those busy weeknights! It’s budget-friendly, has great flavor, and is one of my family’s favorite.
Easy Cheesy Beef and Macaroni Bake
This cheesy beef and macaroni bake is a family favorite! It's not only extremely easy to make but you probably already have the ingredients in your pantry.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 4 cups macaroni
- 1 onion chopped
- 2 cans tomato soup
- 2 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tbsp Montreal Steak spice or more or less to taste
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Add ground beef and chopped onion to a large pre-heated skillet. Season with salt, pepper, and Montreal Steak Spice. Cook over medium heat until completly done.
- While the ground beef is cooking your going to cook your macaroni. Add 4 cups of macaroni to a large pot of salted boiling water and cook until the noodles start getting tender. You don't want to overcook the macaroni as they will continue to cook in the oven.
- Once the ground beef is cooked your going to remove the excess fat and add 2 cans of tomato soup. Mix well and let simmer for 6 – 7 minutes.
- Mix in ground beef mixture to cooked macaroni and add in 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese. Stir until cheese is completely melted and then add the macaroni into a 9×13 baking dish.
- Cover with more cheese and bake in the oven for 20-30 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the casserole is heated all the way through. Cooking time depends on your oven so make sure to check up on it.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.Serve with garlic bread or a side salad.Enjoy!

Notes:
- This makes leftovers. If you don’t need as much you can easily cut the recipe in half.
- If you don’t like Montreal Steak spice feel free to add your favorite spices. These kinds of recipes can easily be modified to your liking.
