Slow Cooker Hamburger Soup
This delicious and super easy hamburger soup is comforting, cheap to make, and very filling.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 4-5 red potatoes, cut into cubes (1 inch pieces)
- 3 cups beef broth
- 1 can whole tomatoes, crushed
- 1 tbsp garlic, minced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 cup carrots, chopped
- ½ cup frozen corn
- ½ cup celery, chopped
- 6 ounce can tomato paste
- 2 ½ tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
- 2 tsp Italian seasonings
- ½ tbsp dry parsley
- ½ tsp salt (or more to taste)
- ¼ tsp black pepper (or more to taste)
Instructions
- Add ground beef, onions, and celery to a large preheated skillet. Season with salt and pepper to taste and cook until the ground beef is browned.
- Remove excess grease and add garlic. Cook for an additional 30-35 seconds until fragrant, stirring constantly.
- Add ground beef into the slow cooker followed by the rest of the ingredients.
- Mix it all together, cover, and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours. Note: Cooking time depends on your slow cooker/crockpot.
- Serve aside biscuits or homemade bread, and fresh parsley if desired.Enjoy!
