15 Minute One-Pan Creamy Shrimp and Tortellini Alfredo
This easy shrimp and tortellini alfredo is all cooked in one pan, is loaded with yummy flavors, and is made with a from-scratch creamy alfredo sauce that you won't be able to resist making again and again! And the best part…it takes 15 minutes to cook!
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp oil
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 pound large or medium uncooked shrimps, peeled and deveined.
- 20 ounces refrigerated tortellini (about 4½ cups)
- 1 cup low sodium chicken broth
- 1¼ cup heavy/whipping cream
- 1½ cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp cream cheese
- ¾ tsp Italian seasonings
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ¼ tsp salt and pepper
For the Shrimps
- ¼ tsp paprika
- ¾ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tbsp oil
Instructions
- In a bowl mix shrimp with the seasonings and oil. Mix until the shrimps are completely coated.
- Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimps in a single layer and cook for about 1-2 minutes on each side, until they turn pink. Do not overcook or they will become rubbery.Remove the shrimps from the pan and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt the butter. Stir in the garlic and cook for 30-35 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir in the chicken broth and heavy cream.Add Italian seasoning, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix to combine and bring to a simmer.
- Add cream cheese and stir until it is completely melted and the mixture becomes smooth.
- Bring to a boil, add tortellini, and stir to coat. Cover, turn the heat to medium-low, and allow to cook for 5 minutes.
- Remove the lid, add shrimps and parmesan cheese and stir until the cheese is melted, and continue to cook, uncovered until the sauce thickens and the tortellini is cooked to your liking.
- Serve with extra parmesan cheese sprinkled on top and fresh parsley if desired.Bon Appetit!
