INGREDIENTS YOU WILL NEED TO MAKE THIS CREAMY PASTA

This delicious meal is made with a bunch of flavorful and delicious ingredients that you are going to love!

  • Oil: I love to use avocado oil as it is a heart-healthy oil and has a high smoke point.
  • Italian Sausage: mild or hot it is completely your choice, you know how much heat your family can handle. 🙂
  • Spaghetti: Spaghetti is my pasta of choice for this recipe but you can use any that you want. But please note that cooking time will vary based on the type you use.
  • Fire-Roasted Tomatoes: high HIGHLY suggest using fire-roasted instead of regular tomatoes as they contain a whole lot more flavors. They are less acidic than regular canned tomatoes as they are fire-roasted over an open flame that accentuates the flavors and gives them a much sweeter taste.
  • Garlic: fresh garlic is always best to acquire the maximum flavor but jarred garlic also works well when you’re in a hurry. I’ve been known to use it from time to time and I have absolutely no shame!
  • Onions: adding onions is a great way to boost the flavor in your recipe, I would not skip this.
  • Bell Pepper: use any color of your choice although I don’t recommend the greens ones as they tend to be more bitter.
  • Chicken Broth: I use low sodium as it gives me more control over how much sodium is going into my recipes. Remember that when it comes to seasonings everyone is different, you can’t remove salt from a recipe but you can always add more later. Always do a taste test before serving.
  • Heavy/Whipping Cream:
  • Parmesan: Use freshly grated parmesan for maximum yummy flavors!
  • Mozzarella: A little mozzarella to give it that nice gooey cheesy texture.
  • Italian Seasonings: If you don’t have Italian seasonings on hand then you can add 1/3 of a tsp each of thyme, basil, oregano, and rosemary.
